Responsible Gaming

Gaming should be a small, planned expense, never a way to make money or solve money problems. Here is how to stay in control, and where to get help if it stops being fun.

Need to talk to someone now?

In India, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416. It is the Government of India's free, confidential mental-health helpline, open 24/7 in many languages, and it can help with gambling-related stress.

Start with the maths

Every game on platforms like Big Daddy Game is built so the house keeps a share of the money played. Results are random and independent, and the more rounds you play, the closer your overall result gets to that built-in loss. Think of any deposit as the price of entertainment, like a cinema ticket, not as an investment.

Set limits before you play

  • Money limit: an amount you could lose completely without affecting rent, food, bills, studies or family.
  • Time limit: set a phone alarm. Long sessions are where plans fall apart.
  • No borrowing: never play with loans, credit cards, lending apps or money from friends.
  • Separate wallet: keep gaming money apart from everyday money so the limit is real.
  • Stop at the limit: win or lose, the session ends when you reach it.

Do not chase losses

Raising your stake to win back what you lost is the fastest route from fun to harm. The next round does not know what happened before. Doubling up only makes the next loss bigger.

Warning signs

  • Regularly playing longer or spending more than you planned
  • Borrowing, selling things or using bill money to play
  • Hiding your play from family or friends
  • Feeling restless or irritable when trying to cut down
  • Thinking about games during work, study or sleep
  • Playing to escape stress or low mood

One sign is worth watching. Several together are a reason to stop and seek support.

How to take a break

  1. Log out everywhere and uninstall the app.
  2. Ask in-app support about deposit limits, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion.
  3. Use your bank or UPI app's controls to block gaming payments where available.
  4. Install a blocking tool such as Gamban or BetBlocker.
  5. Tell someone you trust and ask them to check in with you.
